Journeys in Provision
If you’re a member of one our church bases, please email admin@thebridgecoventry.org for your free copy.
In this season we asking the Bridge family to read Journeys in Provision. It’s a short book that’s free on Kindle (click the button below). Read it as an individual, couple, family or as part of your Missional Community.
This book offers short chapters with different stories of faith where God has blessed and provided. We are asking you to read this so that you may be encouraged and also offer God space to speak.
As a church we want to continue to ask two questions,
What is God saying?
What am I going to do about it?
In this season we are asking you to ask with these questions,
What is God asking me to give?
Introduction
As we begin our series looking at God’s Provision, here’s an introduction to what the next three weeks will look like as well as some testimonies from some of our church members. You can either watch the video on YouTube or listen below.
Sunday 9 May 2021
This Sunday David shared across the Bridge part of his and his family’s story and about discovering God as their provider. What would it look like to trust God fully with our finances and allow him to lead us in the way we steward the money that has been given to us?
Sunday 16 May 2021
This week our aim is to create spaces to talk about what it would look like to use our financial resources to deepen our relationship with God.
Pledge
This week we’ll be inviting you to pledge your giving to enable our Operations team to inform our Joint Council of our budget for the year ahead. We are also inviting you to give time, particularly where giving financially isn’t possible as we rebuild teams for Sundays.
‘It would be nice if…’
Hear some of the things it would be great to step into doing that we are dreaming about. We continue to choose to listen to God and build His Kingdom.
Sunday 23 May 2021
This week we finish our series on Journeys in Provision with an invitation to explore 2 Corinthians 8 and to go on a journey of risk taking and learning practically what it means to trust in our God who provides. What does it look like to give out our generosity?
