SEND OUTREACH WORKER AND YOUNG PEOPLE'S DISCIPLESHIP ENABLER

This dual-role position combines responsibilities for fostering inclusion and accessibility for children with SEND and enabling discipleship for young people within the church and wider community. The individual will play a vital role in connecting church, school, and families while nurturing spiritual growth among young people.

This role also requires the post holder to train and develop volunteers.

We are looking for a dynamic and talented individual to work within the team, to enable the vision and values of The Bridge Coventry to be demonstrated in this ministry area.

  • Salary: £29,250 (pro rata), £14,040 per annum – reviewed each April.

  • Contract: 12 months Fixed Term

  • Hours: 18 hours Shared Office facilities are provided

  • Location: The Bridge offices and churches within the Benefice.

  • Probation: To be reviewed after 3 months.

  • DBS: A DBS check is required for this role.

  • Pension: Legal & General (5%)

  • Annual Leave: 5 weeks (pro rata) plus Public/Bank Holidays

This role requires a Genuine Occupational Requirement (GOR) for the candidate to be a Christian because it is an active role within a Christian Church.

This role is exempt under the Equality Act 2010, part 1 of Schedule 9.
